As a Kennel Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily care of animals in our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning kennels, feeding pets, administering medications, and ensuring the animals are safe, happy, and comfortable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising pets.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, pet bedding, and common areas.
- Administer medications or treatments to animals as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor.
- Monitor the behavior and health of pets, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
- Maintain accurate records of pet care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any behavioral concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Assist with any other duties as needed to ensure smooth facility operations.
Qualifications:
- A genuine love and passion for animals.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle large or energetic animals.
- Flexibility with work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
