At Valley View Chapel, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced office administrator to join our team. As a part-time position, this role reports directly to the Lead Pastor and carries significant responsibilities within the office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary receptionist, providing a warm and welcoming experience for visitors and staff alike.
  • Manage the office environment, including equipment and supplies, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports as required, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist with financial planning and record-keeping, processing requests and distributing giving records efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support to church staff members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to oversee digital and print communications, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Facilitate smooth event planning and execution by assisting staff and volunteers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Highly organized, with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in digital media and standard computer applications, with a willingness to learn new tools as needed.
  • Excellent graphic design and digital publishing skills, leveraging industry-standard software.
