VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill temporary paraprofessional positions for the 2025 Extended School Year program (location to be determined).Until Filled
Orientation: June 02, 2025
Dates: June 03, 2025 through July 02, 2025 ** No school June 19 and June 20 **
Times: 8:30am – 12:45pm (KLH)
7:45am – 12:00pm (RHS)
Note: Number of positions to be determined by student enrollment. Paraprofessionals will be notified as soon as possible regarding the status of their employment.
JOB SUMMARY: The Paraprofessionals are responsible to the ESY Principal for: assisting in provision of instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and employing effective instructional techniques. The ESY program will serve students with moderate to severe disabilities and will include certified teaching and related-services staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE: Salary is in accordance with the Paraprofessional Salary Schedule.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Paraprofessionals are paid in accordance with the Paraprofessional salary schedule. All individual and program paraprofessionals accepting ESY assignments do so with the understanding that they may be reassigned at the discretion of the ESY Principal. Classes include children who may require lifting, feeding, or diapering. Applicants must work the entire summer session. No vacation times or subs are acceptable.
