Responsibilities:
- Manage tee time reservations efficiently, ensuring accuracy to maximize course capacity while accommodating members' and guests' preferences.
- Answer phone and email inquiries, providing information about tee time availability, pricing, membership benefits, and course policies.
- Greet golfers upon arrival, checking them in for their tee timesand collecting fees.
- Provide exceptional beverage service at the clubhouse bar, including preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, building strong relationships with members and guests by engaging in friendly conversation and providing personalized service.
- Assist with other clubhouse operations, such as administrative tasks, inventory management, and event coordination, as directed by the clubhouse manager.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and participate in regular training sessions to stay up to date with new policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team environment and deliver a seamless experience to all golfers and clubhouse visitors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a golf course, hospitality, or bar setting, is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tee time schedules effectively while providing excellent service to golfers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette and basic golf rules is an advantage.
- Prior experience in bartending and the ability to prepare and serve various drinks is desired.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications to serve alcohol.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on golf course operations and events.
