What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Specialist in the Medical Staff Office, full-time position at Valley View Hospital Association?
Valley View Hospital is seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist to assist our busy Medical Staff Office as a Medical Staff Specialist. Responsibilities include assisting the Medical Staff Director with all Medical Staff Office credentialing files (both Initial Appointment and Reappointment files) and other clerical tasks. The Medical Staff Specialist also assists with coordinating the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicant should be process driven and have strong organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred
- Credentialing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Two years computer use experience in business office setting
- Ability to learn new software programs

SALARY
- Starting salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Position wage range: $20.41 - $30.02/hour
