We're looking for a full-time Resource RN to work 12-hour night shifts with our Critical Care Unit as your home base. The Resource RN will have demonstrated competency to work in a Critical Care Unit and will be floating to many other departments to be a Resource Nurse. These departments include Acute Care, Emergency Department, Urgent Care and the Critical Care Unit.
AC
The AC unit is a 33-bed unit providing multiple levels of care to acute and chronically ill patients with a variety of medical/surgical diagnosis.
CCU
The CCU is a 13 bed-unit providing multiple levels of care to patients of all ages (neonate to geriatric). Patient conditions can range from intensive care to observational care.
ED
The Emergency Department (ED) is 13-bed unit open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ED offers a variety of medical services to unscheduled patients who need urgent or emergent medical attention. Patient safety and stabilization is the primary consideration of the Emergency Department.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2-years RN work experience in a hospital setting with at least 1 years in Critical Care required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association with cards in-hand before start date.
- TNCC or obtained within 6 months of hire.

SALARY RANGE
- $37.50 - $56.23/hour (BSN)
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN)
- Evening, Night and Weekend Differentials Available
