Position Overview
We are looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Customer Service Specialist to be the key point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will manage customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues, ensuring that every interaction is handled with efficiency and care.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries both in person and over the phone.
Provide accurate product, pricing, and shipping information to meet customer needs.
Order Management:
Enter customer orders into the system while recommending complementary products when appropriate.
Make timely follow-up calls regarding backorders and delivery updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
Complaint Resolution:
Investigate and resolve customer concerns including warranty, refund, exchange, or return requests.
Complete the necessary forms and documentation to address any issues effectively.
System & Data Maintenance:
Keep product information current, including pricing and availability details.
Track shipments and update records to ensure a seamless order process.
Sales Support:
- Participate in initiatives designed to re-engage existing customers and target new prospects, contributing to overall sales efforts.
Additional Duties:
- Perform any other tasks as assigned to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a customer service role is required.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer proficiency and adeptness with phone systems.
Ability to quickly build product knowledge to accurately recommend items.
Preferred Expertise:
Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous.
Familiarity with material handling and RFID systems is a plus.
Salary info:
$21 - $22 / hr
