What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Room Nurse position at Valley View Medical Center?
Qualifications
- Must have an Associate's Degree in nursing or a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- An active RN License from Arizona or a compact license is required.
- 1 year of Emergency Room experience is preferred, as is Charge Nurse experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are necessary, with TNCC certification also being desirable.
- EKG exam must be completed at time of hire, with NIH Stroke Scale or obtain within 90 days of hire.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
