What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feed Mill Assistant position at Valley View Milling, LLC?
The Mill Worker will be trained and responsible for performing multiple roles within the feed production facility and be able to fulfill any of these roles when required. This Mill Worker will be responsible for covering job duties in the areas of Mixing, Trace Area, Bagging and Inventory Counts.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Class A driver's license in good standing is required.
- Ability to work independently, organize, monitor, and adjust work as necessary to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions, both in a verbal and written manner.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems.
- Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy when handling information and situations, and more.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently stoop, kneel, crawl and bend.
- Frequently climb stairs and fifty (50) plus foot ladders.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) – one-hundred (100) pounds.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack with 2,000 lbs. of material.
- Finger dexterity, manual dexterity, alertness, precision, motor coordination, auditory discrimination and tactile discrimination.
