What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Professional - Imaging position at Valley View?
As the Imaging Patient Access Professional, you will:
- Verifies insurance and benefits for Imaging patients
- Acquires Insurance Authorization for Imaging patients.
- Communicates with Imaging staff, patient's benefits and authorization request status
- Communicates directly with patients in regard to their Imaging benefits.
SCHEUDLE
- Full-time. 40-hours per week.
- 2 Positions available.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or equivalent
- One to two years of customer service experience required.
- Previous experience in insurance verification, patient registration, collections or billing required.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
- Bilingual highly preferred (English/Spanish).
- Ability to work under variable conditions.
- Well-organized, dependable and flexible; Strong computer and typing skills.
- Must be a team player.
