Were seeking a dedicated IT Director to lead and secure our organizations network systems and technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Security & System Integrity
- Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive security plan for all organizational systems.
- Ensure protection of all network components including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, workstations, and email systems.
- Direct and manage backup strategies and recovery plans to guarantee data recoverability.
Technology Oversight & Licensing
- Maintain proper licensing of all network and technology assets.
- Ensure compliance with software, hardware, and security regulations.
- Guide the acquisition, maintenance, and retirement of IT resources in alignment with legal and organizational standards.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Directly supervise IT staff and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide resources, training, and tools for effective performance.
- Maintain department budgets and ensure operations remain within financial guidelines.
Process Documentation & Policy Development
- Approve and maintain accurate documentation of systems and processes for decision-making.
- Oversee appropriate system permissions, application rights, and file access to maintain security.
- Contribute to departmental and organizational policy development in accordance with federal and local regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Innovation, Support & Collaboration
- Stay informed on current technologies and trends to support research, development, and innovation.
- Lead the support and deployment of IT systems across the organization.
- Collaborate with other IS Directors and organizational leaders to ensure seamless integration and communication across systems.
- Participate in meetings and provide leadership insights for continuous improvement.
- Provide off-hours support for upgrades, system maintenance, and testing as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in computer technology or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 5 years of work experience in a related IT field.
- 2 years of management or leadership experience.
Skills:
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and lead teams effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualities:
- Demonstrates professionalism, maturity, and a positive attitude.
- Models enthusiasm and alignment with the organizations mission.
- Positively engages with team members and stakeholders.
