Peer Support Professional
Location: Valley-Wide Rocky Ford/La Junta Peer House
Vacancy: 2 positions available either FT or PT
Pay Range: $18.20 $22.05 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
This position is based in Rocky Ford but may require work at the La Junta Peer House as needed. It involves working closely with individuals to provide peer-led support, training, and advocacy in a compassionate, recovery-focused environment.

What Youll Do:
- Work with individuals one-on-one or in group settings, providing information, mentorship, and skills training.
- Assist individuals in accessing treatment, navigating systems of care, and connecting with community resources.
- Document and communicate client participation in peer support activities to ensure continuity of care.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Personal experience with mental health or substance use recovery (self or as a loved one).

Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide empathetic and nonjudgmental support.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Preferred Experience: Previous medical office experience and bilingual skills are a plus.
- Certifications: BLS certification/training (provided upon employment).

Requirements:
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check (including MVR).
- TB test result (within the past 12 months).

- Valid Colorado drivers license (if required for the position) with insurability and willingness to travel.
- Annual flu vaccination may be required.
