Job Summary:
Full-time position available within our San Luis Valley region. The primary responsibility of the position is to schedule and provide the transportation of patients/clients to and from their private residences and their destination utilizing company vehicle in a safe, secure and professional manner. Transport driver will need to effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive transport instructions, maintain a professional image and attitude, complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurately complete activity logs and vehicle reports, and be physically able to safely secure clients for transport, lift up to 50 lbs., and transport wheelchair patients.
Must foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.
Required Experience & Skills:
Must have at least 2 years of continuous driving experience in the United States
No more than 1 moving violation or 1 “at fault” accident within the past 3 years.
Bilingual Skills are preferred
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications:
Must also be or have the ability to be medically qualified to drive and obtain medical certification card, CPR and First Aid certified.
