We are looking for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager serves as a key resource to the accounting department, providing critical support and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the organization's financial operations and general ledger. This position is responsible for processing payroll, leading month-end close processes, completing reconciliations and supervising accounts payable.
This individual initiate and leads projects and activities with other departments and is responsible for providing support and complex assistance to the Senior Finance Director Assistant Controller, and managers throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will :
- Oversee and execute month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and financial reports.
- Perform and review general ledger reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Supervise accounts payable, providing guidance, implementing efficiencies, and oversight to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Process bi-weekly payroll in accordance with applicable labor regulations and accounting standards.
- Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts and ensure proper classification of transactions.
- Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations, including garnishments, taxes, and benefits remittances.
- Support financial statement audits and monitoring activities, including preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the accounting team, providing technical support and guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to address and resolve accounting-related matters.
- Document and develop processes and procedures to improve operational efficiencies.
- Adapt to changing environments and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Organize, interpret, and communicate financial data to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure compliance in all accounting functions.
