Looking for help in our Floor Care Crew cleaning department.
As a Floor Care Crew member, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your responsibilities will include cleaning, carpet care, and buffing, utilizing heavy equipment as needed. Your core skills in floor care and janitorial experience will ensure high standards of cleanliness in commercial settings. Additionally, your custodial expertise and knowledge of environmental services will contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Experience with cleaning different types of floors including:
- Carpet Cleaning
- VCT Tiles
- Strip & Wax
- and more
Skills
- Proven working experience as a cleaner is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Working entire shift walking & bending over as necessary to complete cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity
- Great communication. Letting your supervisor know what time you will be onsite to clean. Letting your supervisor know immediately if you cannot clean that day so someone can fill in.
Other
- Valid driver's license preferred and ability to get to cleaning locations with own vehicle/transportation.
- Experience with floor scrubbing/cleaning machines is additionally beneficial.
