This position requires a motivated, independent sales professional with demonstrated ability to develop and execute regional sales plans and strategies. Responsible for leading the partnership with Children's Medical Staff and other team members to achieve results in alignment with the Hospital's marketing and business development plan. The Business Development Liaison is responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with primary care providers, hospital based providers, medical groups, specialists, and IPAs to identify service needs and facilitate relationship development with Children's. The Business Development Liaison acts as a key resource and liaison for business development, communication, information, and problem solving and provides ongoing support to community based health care providers, ensuring they receive high value customer service. The Business Development Liaison identifies and researches opportunities to expand the health care community's knowledge of Children's services and facilities and develops educational programs and other mechanisms to capitalize on these opportunities. The Liaison strives to increase the community health care provider's overall satisfaction with Children's. The Liaison is accountable for promoting collaborative relationships between physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, department heads and outside agencies.
