Job Summary:
As an Aquatic Emergency Response Specialist at Valleyfair, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while they enjoy our aquatic attractions.
We are looking for a highly skilled and certified lifeguard who can respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the swim area for any signs of distress or emergency.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
- Participate in regular training and certification programs to stay up-to-date with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Current lifeguard certification (training provided).
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided).
- Ability to pass a Lifeguard course taught in English.
- Strong swimming skills and physical stamina.
- 20/20 vision or corrective vision to 20/20.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
