Summary
Valleypoint Early Childhood Learning Center, which is a ministry of Valleypoint Church, is currently hiring an infant teacher and a floater. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can inspire and motivate our young children to take pride in their accomplishments. As a teacher, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate that children can receive unconditional love and support from other caregivers besides their parents. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes trust and emotional security and meets the individual interests and needs of each child.
Duties
- Develop individual care plans for each child based on their stage of development.
- Help with maintaining detailed notes and files on the children's development and progress.
- Modeled empathy through respect, response, and gentle guidance
- Fostered emotional and social development through a secure attachment with each child
- Built excellent relationships with each child's family and communicated with them daily
- Ensured compliance with state regulations and industry best practices for cleanliness and safety.
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.
