What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Analyst, Accessories Planning position at Vallourec - North America?
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure correct accessories are being purchased based on current quality specifications
- Enter Purchase Requisition for couplings and protectors for all NA (when threading our orders)
- Enter, update and maintain accurate data in the accessories spreadsheet
- Conduct order follows up with suppliers and address any late orders
- Help to maintain positive business relationships with suppliers
- Communicate any order discrepancy and help in addressing shortages
- Process order changes and update spreadsheet.
- Special projects as needed.
- Knowledge of SAP and /or other MRP systems.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to details is critical in this role.
- Ability to work independently and with little instruction
- Ability to analyze data, run reports, summarize output, and draw conclusions.
- Able to work with all levels of an organization.
- Excellent data management and organization skills.
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Management, or other related discipline.
- Certification in any Supply Chain Professional Organization is desired but not mandatory (CPIM, CPSM, CSCP, SCOR or other)
