Support implementation of Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies at the shop floor, guided by the local Industrial Performance Engineer at the facility (VPA – Vallourec Performance Analyst).

Industrial Engineering preferred. Other engineering is accepted.

The Projects Under The Scope For The Internship Are
- Support implementation of digital system for Shop Floor Management Routines. The intern will be trained in the new tool and will help implement it.
- Support the Continuous Improvement Teams on specific topics related to improving Industrial Performance (Cycle time studies, Line Balancing, SMED, TPM, 5S, Inventory Management)
- Support implementation and standardization of digital systems for Operations Tracking and Quality (RTP, DLS)
Industrial Engineering preferred. Other engineering is accepted.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
