Vallum is partnered with a 90-person firm with a 5-decade legacy of innovation across NYC. Starting from some of the first solar collector designs in the 1970’s, to the 90’s restoration of Grand Central Terminal’s infrastructure, our client has established themselves as a strong player across a diverse range of industry sectors & services.
They are now searching on their Sr. Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager requirement for their Energy Infrastructure team. The team do a lot of work on the energy & construction side for predominately healthcare and higher education projects.
This person will be the Principal’s right-hand man for the current team of about 10 engineers.
Need to be someone who can be client facing PM and also offer technical excellence as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (7-12 years)
Needs someone to help alleviate the PM / client facing requirements and understand the nuanced communication around the energy and infrastructure side
NYC experience required, but NJ experience would be a plus as well
PE is going to be a highly requirement, or someone who is a master of his domain
Mentorship will be key on day 1, people management will come down the road
Salary will range up to $160k, potentially able to flex dependant on licensure and / or applicable experience.
