As the Warehouse Worker , Shipping & Receiving, here are the duties that you can expect :
- Prepare shipping paperwork, pull the parts, package parts and ship transactions.
- Coordinate and oversee the movement of materials from the receiving dock to the assigned locations to ensure production is working efficiently, safely, and with quality results.
- Pull parts, move it to shipping, verify the parts, package it for shipment to the customer.
- Deburring and prepping parts as needed.
- Kitting a job by following the job order created by planner, pull it, verify it, identify each part, tag each part when needed.
- Daily LN maintenance Closing orders, issuing material as needed, outbound logistics, cycle count or other inventory requirements as needed.
- Adhere to 5S program, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Adhere to Valmet Inc. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) goals and directives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need :
To be successful in this role, you are willing and have the ability to learn a wide variety of technical products, ERP systems, and specialty applications.
You are assertive, tech savvy, and not afraid to ask questions. You work well in a fast-paced team environment and can lift to 50 pounds.
Also, you can push or pull heavy loads with the assistance of a wheeled cart, hoist, or other lift assist equipment. Materials management or inventory management experience is a plus, but not required for the right individual who is motivated to work hard, is curious and willing to learn, and is an excellent team player.
You are also comfortable with wood working and forklift operations experience is important.
