Responsibilities
- Analyze malfunctions of primary high voltage electrical equipment at substations and transformers.
- Repair and maintain high voltage lines, including removal of fuses, links, and buss connections.
- Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
- Provide training and operation of HMI (Human to Machine Interfacing) electrical equipment.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience.
- Experience operating forklifts, boom trucks/hoist/aerial lifts.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisor, and all other shop departments regarding the maintenance and repair of equipment via notes, E-mail, or verbal communication.
