About the Role

This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, processing material according to shop drawings using designated machines. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on working knowledge operating machines in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain material traceability.
• Seek opportunities for improvements within the manufacturing department.
• Perform tasks according to production needs to minimize downtime.
• Manage time to efficiently produce quality products within designated work hours.
• Communicate information and provide feedback, in person, with co-workers, Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor &/or Production Manager.
• Perform general housekeeping.
• The employee is responsible for the quality and quantity of their own work.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on working knowledge operating machines in a production environment.
• Must be able to stand up to complete associated tasks as well as walk/move about the shop in an agile safe manner.
• Industrial trade school training in industrial machining is a plus.
• ~6 months of previous CNC machining experience in a professional, manufacturing environment.

Salary : $5,250
