Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Maintenance Mechanic position in the Maintenance department for 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machines in a timely manner always keeping safety in mind.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine/welding shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Assist in installation of new & used machinery including necessary plumbing, electrical, air, water, gas, etc.
- Maintain good quality workmanship, housekeeping, and observe all safety rules and regulations for self and others.
Requirements
- High School Diploma plus two years of applicable trade school training or two years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be skilled in metal fabrication, SMAW, and GMAW welding processes.
- Must have a high degree of flexibility and be willing to respond as needed to production schedules and equipment outages.
- Must have working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
- Must be able to demonstrate mechanical abilities to perform the above duties.
- Must have good organizational and communications skills.
