About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating one of the largest brake presses in the world, setting up dies and calibrating machinery, and ensuring accurate production runs. This is an individual contributor position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate brake press equipment to produce high-quality products
- Set up and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1 year experience in manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and wear required PPE
