About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Scientist - Automation to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of advanced automation technologies to enhance our discovery workflows. This role requires a strong background in lab automation, experience with integrated robotic platforms, and the ability to collaborate across multiple scientific disciplines.
What You'll Do...
- Train users and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve workflow efficiency and process optimization.
- Explore and implement new automation technologies in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
- Strategic vision - ensure alignment of automation activities with the overall company and group level objectives.
- Develop and enhance high-throughput automation workflows across the organization.
- Develop a program to maintain and troubleshoot key lab equipment - to include liquid handlers (e.g. Hamilton, Tecan, Echo, Certus), plate readers (Envision, Pherastar), HPLCs among others.
