Job Title: Filter Certification Technician
Job Purpose
The purpose of the HEPA Filter Device Certification Technician includes effectively communicating results and ensuring Customer satisfaction. This position also supports cleanroom certification projects working under the supervision of a senior technician.
Duties and Responsibilities Below are the primary job duties and responsibilities. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities:
- Performs routine certification and repairs of devices that contain HEPA filters and cleanrooms at Customer sites. This includes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, and adjusting/calibrating by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment
- May perform specialty work such as National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) accredited certifications, Environmental Monitoring (EM), or compressed air testing upon successful completion of optional internal or external training classes
- Utilizes computer technology to record and upload testing data preferably while at the Customer site. Performs administrative duties promptly as assigned
- Maintains and is responsible for personal tool and testing equipment inventory
- Other duties as indicated by supervisors
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to travel to and from client site
Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer facing position

Work Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extremely low temperature, required to work in aseptic, sterile, or other laboratory environment that may require gowning, masks, or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Physical requirements
- Must be able to stand up to 6 hours per day
- Must be able to work fully gowned in laboratory coverall, hair cover, face mask, and gloves for up to 6 hours per day
- Must be able to lift/push weights up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in walk-in refrigerators or freezers or extreme heat environment periodically for up to 5 hours per day with suitable clothing.
