Job Title: Filter Certification Specialist
Job Summary: Filter Certification Specialist will have primary responsibility for all duties relating to the inspection and testing of HEPA filters, as well as other operational details of filter testing. The Certification Specialist will be capable of communicating with customers and vendors, directly, completing required documentation associated with the inspection, testing of filters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine certification and repairs of devices that contain HEPA filters and cleanrooms at customer sites. This includes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, and adjusting/calibrating by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment

- Perform specialty work such as National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) accredited certifications, Environmental Monitoring (EM), or compressed air testing upon successful completion of optional internal or external training classes
- Utilizes asset management system to record and upload testing data preferably while at the customer site. Performs administrative duties promptly as assigned
- Maintains and is responsible for assigned tools and testing equipment inventory
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license
- Must be able to travel to and from client site
- Other duties as indicated by supervisors
Qualification and Skills:
- Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience in GMP environment, HVAC, and filter certification required
- NSF, CETA, or NEBB certification preferred
- Skills and Abilities:
- Be educated in contamination control principles and how to work within a clean environment or with clean air devices
- Have understanding of cleanroom operation and gowning practices
- Be able to evaluate the validity and acceptability of test data and the results reported.
- Work requires technical aptitude in order to understand theory and working knowledge of test instruments
- Outstanding attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and precision of HEPA filter testing
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to push up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to stand or walk up to 75% of each shift.
- Good driving record and valid license
