Valor Behavioral Health is seeking a few dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our clients. You will work closely with licensed behavioral health professionals to assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, fostering a safe and supportive environment, and helping clients develop essential life skills.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer competence
- Must have a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or certification is a plus.
- Experience in behavioral health, social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Undergraduate Degree in behavioral health, social work, psychology, or a related field is also preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to build trust with clients.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from licensed clinicians.
- Understanding of and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Current CPR/First Aid
Job Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to clients with behavioral health needs.
- Facilitate Psychoeducational Groups.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans under the guidance of licensed clinicians.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and encourage self-sufficiency.
- Foster a therapeutic and empathetic environment that promotes trust and healing.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with the treatment team.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and non-judgmental atmosphere for clients.
Salary : $15 - $18
