ROLE SUMMARY
An Assistant Coach of a Valor Christian Athletic team exists to prepare tomorrow's leaders to transform the world for Christ within the platform of the sport. As a committed follower of Jesus Christ, the Coach will provide excellent support of the program including intentional development of the athletes' faith in Jesus Christ and excellence in Christian Character, while instilling great work habits, and teaching, stressing and monitoring the primacy of Academics.
Valor Christian High School is a decidedly Christian, college preparatory school whose core values honor a biblical foundation. Valor employees are faith-filled, joyful believers who are active in a local, Christian church whose beliefs are in alignment with the school's Statement of Beliefs. Be committed to partnering with parentsSupport athletes in being their best physically through the Valor Performance and Valor Sports Medicine programsAssist athletes and families in College Recruiting process with the Director of College Recruiting, when applicableKnow and understand CHSAA rules and regulations with Director of CHSAA ComplianceBe a contributing member of the Valor Coaches Association by attending VCA eventsServe Wholeheartedly as an Exceptional Teammate

Coaching experience in the particular sportExperience in mentoring student-athletesAll Valor staff must be trusted to maintain confidentiality in all matters of school businessMust be able to relate with high school athletesAbility to effectively communicate with parents and other coachesPOSITION TYPE : Seasonal, Stipend HOURS PER WEEK : Temporary, Part-time.
