Valor Communities is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Cumming, GA. As one of the Southeast’s leading private homebuilders, we pride ourselves on creating quality homes and lasting relationships. We're looking for an individual with 2-5 years of accounting experience who is ready to take on an exciting role in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits
- Ensure accuracy in financial statements and adherence to regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience in homebuilding industry a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary with a pay range of $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience and qualifications.
