What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Crew Member position at Valor Contracting?
Valor Contracting provides general contracting, design build, construction management, and tilt-up concrete services across the Fargo/Moorhead area and surrounding region. OUR OPPORTUNITY:
Valor Contracting is currently looking for a skilled, experienced Concrete Crew Member to join our group. As a Concrete Crew Member for our company, you would be responsible for:
- Setting forms including stakes, edge forms, wall forms
- Grading base materials and placing rebar
- Placing wet concrete
- Finishing concrete to various specifications
- Additional duties as assigned
To excel in this role, an individual will need to:
- Be able to stay later into the evening to properly finish floors
- Have previous experience on construction jobsites
- Have forklift operation experience (preferred, not required)
- Be familiar with hand-held tools and equipment
- Have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Enjoy working outside, in all weather conditions
- Be able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
- Be responsible, accountable, dedicated, punctual, professional and dependable
