We are seeking one MOR for each of the following shifts: 7am-3pm and 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. These positions will be based on-site in our corporate office with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule.
As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will provide administrative scheduling and coordination support to Mission Critical Psychology Services, a Subsidiary of Valor Healthcare. As virtual behavioral health practice Receptionist you will have primary responsibility for scheduling client patients and employees for virtual or telephone psychological evaluations.
Core Responsibilities
- Actively assists with the administrative support related to patientcare.
- Receives the schedule availability of independent behavioral health providers located throughout the Unitied States, builds the schedule to accurately reflect provider availability.
- Receives daily communications from external clients and patients to include requests for appointments
- Contacts patients to offer available appointment times, confirms contact information, and provides instructions to patients and/or clients for assessment required prior to first appointment.
- Confirms via email and phone call, prior to appointment, with independent provider and patient to ensure any cancellations and/or reschedule request are addressed prior to appointment date/time.
- Verifies any and all clinical reminders “due” at the time of each patient visit are completed prior to check out.
- Prepare and provide individual client accounts with a record of no-shows and cancellations for the day.
- Answers phones and timely relays messages.
- Must provide excellent customer service to each client, as well as to fellow colleagues.
- Embrace and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Strong computer skills and communication skills
- Demonstrated high quality customer service & organization skills
- Minimum, 1-year experience in a clinical or call center environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Energetic and optimistic demeanor
