Position Summary
Diagnoses and treats mental and behavioral health conditions, providing supervision to Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, and social workers as needed.
Core Responsibilities
- Conducts individual, group, and family counseling and/or therapy sessions.
- Develops patient management plans and assists in provision of continuity of care through the PCMM (Primary Care Management Module).
- Evaluates patient records from medical providers outside the VA and works with these patients utilizing rules set forth by the VA for co-managed care.
- Maintains confidentiality of veterans' data and information, complying with all VA and company training requirements.

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment or any U.S. state or territory.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' clinical medical practice with adult patients.
