How You Will Contribute
As a skilled Psychiatrist - Mental Health Physician, you will contribute to our mission by delivering comprehensive psychiatric and mental health services, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to address the unique needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices for patient assessment and medication management.
- Works collaboratively with local primary care providers to coordinate medical concerns for patients, leveraging IHSC video teleconferencing equipment and electronic medical records software.
- Engages patients and families in the treatment process, promoting recovery and empowerment through culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.
- Maintains accurate and detailed documentation, testimony, and written orders needed for patient care, medical records, legal actions, referrals, performance development, credentials/privileges, and administrative requirements.
- Contributes to policy development and implementation, analyzing public health trends in mental health and related special population groups.
