What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Patient Care Secretary position at Valor Hospice?
Valor Hospice is currently searching for a full-time Patient Care Secretary to join our growing team. This position offers competitive pay, mileage reimbursement and additional benefits as follows.
- Screens telephone calls for office. Facilitates communication between patients/families and other team members.
- Work with Billing Department routinely and as requested.
- Work alongside with central intake.
- Orders D.M.E. and maintains record of dates ordered and picked-up.
- Responsible for requesting and/or sending out medical records.
- Assist Director of Nursing or Patient Care Manager in tracking discipline visits, schedules, licensure alerts and other important information.
- Help with getting Physician signature for orders, Plans of Care and IDG.
- Assisting in developing, implementing, and/or revising policies, procedures, and practices to improve the continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
