Overview :
The Hospice Director of Clinical Services position is a key role responsible for designing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating processes and programs to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements. You will work closely with local clinical leaders to ensure exceptional clinical care and survey readiness at all times. As the Director of Clinical Services, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and agency performance.
Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and guidance in establishing programs, policies, and practices for exceptional clinical care
- Educate and assist local clinical leaders to be survey-ready
- Work closely with compliance resources to ensure effective survey preparedness
- Develop and implement processes to monitor and measure clinical, education, and performance improvement activities
- Coordinate educational programs, orientation, and competency systems
- Monitor and report quality data in areas such as patient care, safety, risk management, infection control, outcomes, and customer satisfaction
- Educate and train nursing supervisors on documentation requirements
- Step into patient homes for observations, evaluations, and mock surveys
- Develop and monitor agency initiatives in patient safety, risk management, and infection control
- Travel as needed
