Overview
We are looking for a Front Desk Manager to join our team at the newly build Valor hotel located in Parowan, Utah. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area, serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Support the management team in providing overall leadership in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and operational efficiency across all departments.
- Responsible for Front Desk and Breakfast Attendant Teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Will provide training and coaching to ensure all hotel policies, procedures and regulations are being followed.
- Will assist in hiring team members, managing performance, communicating feedback, administering discipline and training the team in the successful execution of their jobs. Responsibilities include creating and owning a schedule for both front desk and breakfast staff. (which includes filling in or covering shifts.)
- Highly visible and interact with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on the quality of the product, service levels, and overall satisfaction.
- Ensure the front desk and breakfast kitchen and dining area is tidy and has all necessary stationery and food needs.
- Oversee front desk and breakfast operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes, accurate reservations management, and prompt resolution of guest inquiries and concerns.
- Troubleshoot emergencies that may arise with daily operations.
