If so, we want to talk to you! As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in growing our business by building strong relationships with dealers and ensuring all brand standards are met. You will have the tools, resources, and support you need to succeed while contributing to both short-term and long-term business goals.
Our Dealer Division operates in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee, with over 120 stores (as of January 2021). In addition to our Owensboro, KY office, we have locations in Louisville, KY, Florence, KY, Maysville, KY, and Bowling Green, KY. All dealer locations sell gasoline, and the profitability of selling our gasoline and executing contracts with dealers are the primary drivers of profit for the company.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, goal-oriented individual with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence. This person should be sales-driven, ambitious, and business-savvy, with the ability to create mutually beneficial outcomes for both prospective dealers and Valor. Expect to travel 3-4 days per week, sourcing new business and occasionally requiring overnight stays. A strong attention to detail and the ability to develop actionable site improvement plans is essential.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers to drive business growth.
- Increase the number of business units by acquiring new dealer accounts.
- Ensure existing dealer business is maintained and operating smoothly.
- Enforce brand standards and ensure adherence across all dealer locations.
- Manage budgets to ensure profitability and financial growth.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance at all dealer locations.
- Conduct cold calls and follow up on sales leads to close new business and secure contracts with prospective dealers.
- Add new stores to the growing dealer network, ensuring contracts are successfully executed.
- Foster lasting, positive relationships with dealer owners/lessees and hold them accountable to contractual obligations.
- Identify areas of improvement for each dealer location and develop action plans that benefit both Valor and the dealer.
- Achieve monthly and yearly business targets by executing a successful business model with dealers.
- Continuously assess and improve each area of the Profit and Loss statement to ensure financial goals are met.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of sharing ideas purposefully and effectively with all levels of the organization, including legal, transportation, fuel dispatch, accounting, and maintenance departments, to ensure division goals are met.
