Job Description : Field Training Security Officer Position
Overview : The Field Training Security Officer is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive training programs for field personnel. This role ensures that all staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to exceed company standards, achieve 2025 KPIs, and support the company’s growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Training Program Developmen t :
Design and implement training initiatives focused on de-escalation, emergency response, customer service, client engagement, and scenario-based learning.
Develop and deliver specialized programs, including armed guard certifications, school safety training, self-defense, and facility inspection training.Integrate child engagement and cultural best practices into training modules.Training and Compliance :Ensure all staff meet a minimum 90% compliance with training-based KPIs.
Conduct regular training evaluations to identify gaps and refine the curriculum.Lead monthly training sessions and ensure participation and engagement across the team.Collaboration and Infrastructure :Partner with the Operations Supervisor and HR to forecast hiring needs and plan onboarding training.
Collaborate on the implementation of training technology and infrastructure improvements.Scenario-Based and Emergency Preparedness :Lead scenario-based training programs to prepare staff for high-pressure situations.
Conduct emergency response drills and ensure readiness for critical incidents.Certification Management :Manage and maintain records of certifications, including armed guard certifications and mandatory compliance requirements.
Ensure timely recertification and training updates for all personnel.Team Development and Recognition :Support monthly recognition initiatives by identifying staff who excel in training and application.
Oversee team training milestones and ensure staff are progressing toward professional goals.Client Engagement Support :Train staff on best practices for client interaction and engagement to strengthen relationships.
Conduct quarterly reviews of client engagement training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.Skills and Qualifications :
Proven experience in security training or a related field.Expertise in developing and delivering comprehensive training programs.Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of safety, security, and emergency protocols.Familiarity with training technology and learning management systems.Must be over 21 years oldAbility to pass Background & Drug ScreeningUnarmed Guard CertificationGeorgia License to CarryFirst Aid and CPR CertificationCapability to handle physical confrontations, restrain individuals, or lift heavy objects (e.g., 50 pounds).This is a FIELD-focused position 90% in the field & 10% administrativePowered by JazzHR
