Position Description

The Capital Campaign Coordinator for Valor Kyle will:

• Have capital campaign (solo) experience, ideally in K-12 schools
• Lead overall capital campaign for campus expansion through strategic planning, community engagement and media communications
• Take charge of developing campaign calendars, working with school leadership and volunteers, composing communications and marketing materials (working with graphic designers), and planning campaign events
• Ensure successful $3-5M pledge campaign over 10-18 month timeframe
• Employ campaign best practices to elicit 3-year pledges from parents, grandparents, and community supporters
• Identify major prospects for individual cultivation
• Make the ask, especially face-to-face to major prospects as well as to the school community via event public speaking and effective communications
• Oversee creation of a pledge redemption system post-campaign
• Track activities, contacts, and pledges/gifts in the Valor CRM
• Work directly with campus Headmaster and Valor’s Campaign Manager
• Collaborate with Valor Kyle’s Giving Coordinator to ensure smooth communications in relation to other annual fundraising campaigns
