Description:
In this role, you will be a member of our management company assigned to provide
services to one of our subsidiary companies, Valor Insurance. Valor Insurance is a
nationally recognized full-service insurance brokerage operating in 30 states and
continuing to expand across the county. As an Insurance Account Executive, you'll play a
pivotal role in driving revenue growth and client satisfaction throughout the United
States. You'll be responsible for handling inbound Valor leads, cross-selling to existing
clients, upselling accounts, and leveraging your own network to expand new business
opportunities. This position requires the candidate to obtain a property and casualty
insurance license prior to their start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Inbound Leads: Handle incoming Valor leads generated from various sources including verticals, centers of influence, other Valor Strategy Group companies, and additional channels. Utilize effective communication and sales techniques to convert leads into clients.
- Cross-Sell and Upsell: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products to existing clients based on their needs and preferences. Proactively upsell accounts by offering enhanced coverage options or bundled services.
- Drive Business Growth: Leverage your personal network and industry connections to generate new leads and expand your client base. Implement strategic outreach initiatives to cultivate relationships with potential clients and referral partners.
- Maintain Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to insurance sales and client interactions. Stay informed about changes in insurance laws, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other members of the Valor Insurance team to share insights, collaborate on client strategies, and contribute to team goals. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to prospect for business and overcome objections.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving industry trends.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is desirable.
