Senior Java Software Engineer

Project Duration: 3-6 month, contract-to-hire

We are looking for a talented Senior Cloud Platform Software Engineer to join our agile development team. You will help shape the future of the tools and platforms in the cloud by designing, architecting, and developing innovative solutions for exciting new software projects.

• Play a key role in expanding our product portfolio and migrating to the latest cloud technologies.
• Develop cutting-edge applications, tools, and end-to-end solutions using Java, Node, Angular, React, SQL etc.
• Utilize front-end frameworks such as React and Angular to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with an agile development team to deliver high-quality software projects.
• Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of innovative solutions that shape the future of our tools and platforms in the cloud.

• Proven experience in architectural and implementation-level design.
• Strong foundation in data structures, software designs, micro services, containers, and serverless architecture
• 12 years of progressive technical experience as a software engineer and architect, specializing in building distributed applications and solutions.
• More than 10 years of expertise in developing with Java and Node.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing using AWS.
• Senior-level front-end experience with React and Angular.
• Experience using Agile engineering tracking tools such as JIRA
• SQL and fundamentals of relational database design (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment
• Strong work ethic supported by solid time-management skills
• Professional and team oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the company

• Payroll/Tax software development experience
