Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Teradata database solutions to meet business requirements.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize existing SQL queries and data models for performance improvements.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for database design, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest Teradata features and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Teradata databases.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Teradata-specific tools and utilities.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Datastage) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and practices.
- Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques in Teradata.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
