Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up communications.
- Provide medical administrative support, including filing, data entry, and insurance verification.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- Experience working in various medical environments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.

- Experience with blood draws is a must.
