Job Description
Valta Energy is hiring a Commercial Solar Project Manager Associate to support the development and execution of commercial and industrial-scale renewable energy projects across the US. As a key member of our team, you will assist project management, development, and construction teams with scheduling, reporting, and various administrative tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Assist project managers and construction teams with scheduling, workforce planning, and administrative duties throughout the project lifecycle.
- Scheduling and Reporting: Create and update project schedules across the portfolio, including look-ahead schedules, master schedules, and critical path analyses. Compile and distribute regular reports on project progress, budgeting, resource allocation, and key milestones.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing, coordinate scheduling, and manage services for projects.
- Action Plan Development: Collaborate across cross-functional teams to develop and execute action plans for project success, with oversight from the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (project management, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline).
- 2 years of experience in the construction, engineering, or renewable energy industries.
- Proficiency in MS Project and Procore, as well as the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
