At Valta Energy, we are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the development and execution of commercial and industrial-scale renewable energy projects in Southern California.
This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality projects and fostering strong client relationships in the renewable energy sector.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality project execution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining trust and satisfaction.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of deliverables with permitting agencies, interconnection utilities, site hosts, design professionals, and internal project controls to advance projects to the construction phase.
About the Job
This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site work at our Dana Point or Ontario office, as well as frequent travel to project sites in the LA metro area.
Responsibilities
- Manage resource allocation, scheduling, contracting, budgeting, and quality control throughout all construction phases.
- Evaluate and implement effective solutions to anticipate and mitigate potential project risks.
- Collaborate with procurement, financing, accounting, and other internal teams to ensure seamless material and resource flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering or renewable energy preferred).
- 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and technical proficiency skills.
- Familiarity with permitting, interconnection processes, and construction standards in the renewable energy sector.
