Valtir is hiring a Career Control/Process Operator to support our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility.

As a Control/Process Operator you will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, operate, and maintain various types of production machinery, including press machines and mold machines, to produce high-quality products. You will also be responsible for monitoring the production line, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
Location: Ft. Worth, TX
Starting rate $20 per hour
Full-time: M-TH, 5am-3:30pm
What you’ll do:
Attention to detail is essential, as you will be required to perform quality checks and ensure that all products meet the required specifications. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing process and the satisfaction of our customers in Fort Worth, TX.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with production machinery and tools, including overhead cranes and clamp trucks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification in machine operation or a related field.
- Experience with assembly line processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery, including press machines, mold machines, and band saws.
- Monitor the production process and make adjustments to machinery as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products using tools such as micrometers and deburring equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Skills:
- The required skills for this position, such as operating assembly line machinery and press machines, will be utilized daily to ensure efficient production.
- Proficiency with overhead cranes and clamp trucks will be essential for moving materials safely and effectively throughout the manufacturing facility.
- The ability to use precision tools like micrometers and deburring equipment will be critical in maintaining product quality and meeting specifications.
- Familiarity with mold machines and band saws will enhance your versatility and effectiveness in the role.
