Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a full-time or part-time graduate program with a healthcare focus (e.g., MPH, MHA, MBA, PharmD). Equivalent graduate programs not listed will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of healthcare industry work experience.
- Proficiency in research methodologies (primary and/or secondary) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to external clients.
- Ability to work productively in a team-based, virtual environment.
- Skilled at translating complex client needs into actionable research questions and synthesizing data into concise strategic insights.
- Passionate about healthcare and eager to explore biopharmaceutical consulting.
- Ability to work autonomously and resourcefully when given individual tasks.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) from June to mid-August
- Work environment: Virtual, with optional office space in New York City
- Compensation: This internship may also apply credits towards graduation
- Preceptorship: Opportunity to engage with experienced industry professionals and receive support throughout the process from a dedicated preceptor
As a Market Access Strategy Intern, you will: –
- Develop qualitative and quantitative research reports in PowerPoint (based on Advisory Board Focus Groups, In-depth Interviews, Surveys, etc.), highlighting relevant findings and key insights
- Assist with background research and analysis for strategy documents
- Support strategy workshops and manage key documents for staff
- Prepare a final project and present it to the Valuate team
